We all know Valentine’s Day, celebrated by lovers all over the world but, strangely in Italy, the next day, on February 15, is celebrated San Faustino, the saint and day chosen instead to celebrate the “singles”.
However, in all the best stories we have a protagonist and an antagonist. San Faustino is the protector of the city of Brescia and given that the singles were excluded from the feast of Valentine, to be not outdone, decided to celebrate the day after, just the day of San Faustino, making him rise to the role of protector of singles. Thus, in some cities, especially biggest like Milan, Turin and Rome, on February 15 are organized a series of convivial meetings aimed at one goal: to have fun and meet new people. The redeem of singles!
