The smallest man in the world
After the death of He Pingping (74 cm tall), the past year, at the age of 21 years, the record as smallest man in the world is then passed to the eighteen-years-old Junrey Balawing, a Filipino just a little more than 59 cm tall.
Thanks to the attention of local media, the 72-year-old Chandra Bahadur Dangi, a man who lives in Kathmandu (Nepal), has now come to the fore. His height did not help him until now, with neighbors always making a fool of him, held up to scorning in the slums where he lives and despised by women around. He, who has always considered his stature a curse, now will live an experience that could change his life.
His stature of only 56 cm (22.05 in), is sure to be counted in Guinness World Record as the smallest man in the world. He is just waiting for the official measurement, which should happen in a few days, from the experts who will travel to Kathmandu to formalize the record.
Dangi, meanwhile, is anxiously looking for the committee, perhaps in order to take revenge on so many years of derision.
